The Birth Pool will come in a bag designed specifically for its size & weight. It also has a drawstring and durable arm strap for easy carrying.

PREPARATION
When you receive the birth pool, please inflate to ensure no holes or air leaks. If you should find any air leaks or damages to the pool… please contact us within 24 hours, providing pictures and videos so that we can arrange a speedy replacement. (replacement pool may be different from original rental)
Next: Wipe inside of pool with disinfecting wipes & allow it to thoroughly air dry before deflating, covering or putting liner inside.
AishiaTheMidwife recommendations:
Purchase a water hose and an adapter (most likely) to connect the hose to your faucet or shower and a tarp, old blanket or an old rug - to place under the pool (to protect your floors & the pool).
If you don't have pets to worry about damaging the pool, you may want to leave the pool inflated until you go into labor.
Cover it with a tarp, fabric or fitted bed sheet & lean against a wall where you have the space.
If you have children or pets, please consider whether or not leaving the pool inflated is a safe or good idea (we all know our own children).
Clean up
(This job is for the dad, husband, boyfriend, partner, lover, support person, family member, friends etc… BUT NOT the mother who has just given birth).
These instructions must be followed properly in order to receive security deposit refund.
Empty water from the pool using the sump pump or whatever method is best for you.
The liner should be thrown in the trash. (very simple)
Please wipe the inside and outside of the pool with disinfectant wipes. Let dry completely.
Carefully deflate the pool. You can use the air pump in reverse mode to assist with this, if you prefer.
Fold & roll pool and place in its bag.
Returning the pool
you will be responsible for the return of the pool & its accessories to AishiaTheMidwife within 14 days of your your rental date.

Rental extension rates are:
$50 - 2 days
$100 - 7 days
$150 - 14 days
Extensions fees will be due immediately upon reservation extension.
Local customers can drop off - in person at our Sharon Hill office.
When shipping - please get insurance and tracking on the package and email us those details.
Once the pool is received & checked for quality (to ensure that its not damaged).
Your full deposit of $100 will be refunded to you within 24 hours.
If the pool is damaged and or not received within 14 days of your rental date, your deposit / rental fee will not be returned and you will be charged an additional fee of an additional $200.00.
**Not sending the pool back on time may effect other pool rental reservations. Please be courteous of other birthing moms.
If any of the pool accessories listed above are missing when pool is returned… your deposit / rental fee will be returned minus $80.
